HOW TO AVOID NECK INJURY
Neck Collars
(Including Choke chains, Martingales & Flat collars)

·        Never yank backwards and/or upwards with your leash
·        Excessive pulling requires professional training
·        Coughing is a sign of a damaged airway
·        Keep your leash downward and/or sideways at all times

Many dogs suffer damage, swelling and pain on daily walks. Avoid the danger zone of the throat by using proper leash direction.

Most dogs have a lot of muscle tissue around their neck but all dogs have a thin layer at the throat.
